The Port Waste Reception Facility provides services with a land fleet consisting of 4 licensed trucks and 8 tanker trailers. Additionally, the port has waste reception capacity through an expipe system installed at the quay.
Ship-generated waste is processed at the port reception facility through the following steps: dewatering, decantation, separation, and evaporation.
The outputs, including dewatered slop, bilge water, sludge, waste oil, and waste solvent, are sent to licensed internal and external recycling and recovery facilities.
The wastewater generated during the process is treated through a chemical treatment process and discharged in accordance with the Water Pollution Control Regulation (WPCR).
Gross Storage Capacity of the Waste Reception Facility: 14,360 m³
Total Number of Tanks: 12
All operations are monitored in real time in a digital environment via the SCADA system, ensuring full control of all process stages.
The waste, which is monitored by volume (m³) and tonnage, is safely transported to the designated facilities by the licensed land fleet equipped with a GPS tracking system, and also monitored through the state-mandated online tracking network.
